Ten Taoyuan Food Enterprises Conquer Tokyo: Innovative Industry Prowess Secures NT$270 Million in Potential Orders
The food industry of Taoyuan City has once again demonstrated its formidable international competitiveness. The Taoyuan City Government recently led 10 premium local enterprises to participate in the 4-day "FOODEX JAPAN 2026" (International Food and Beverage Exhibition) held from March 10 to 13. Driven by strong marketing momentum and industrial excellence, the delegation experienced a surge in demand, successfully securing over NT$270 million in potential business opportunities and attracting international buyers from Germany, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, and the United States.
Government-Led Strategy Fosters International Expansion
Taoyuan Vice Mayor Su Jun-pin personally attended the exhibition to endorse the participating enterprises, demonstrating the City Government’s steadfast commitment to propelling local industries onto the global stage. The Department of Economic Development (DED) noted that the city has employed the "Mother Hen Leading the Chicks" marketing model for seven consecutive years. This strategic approach not only assists established enterprises in gaining a foothold but also allows resources to be precisely channeled toward emerging SMEs, thereby expanding the Taoyuan food industry's global influence.
